Interventional Radiology

Washington 医院’s Interventional Radiology (IR) physicians offer many options for the least invasive treatments available.

IR refers to a range of techniques which rely on the use of radiological image guidance (X-ray fluoroscopy, ultrasound, computed tomography [CT] or magnetic resonance imaging [MRI]) to precisely target therapy. 大多数 IR treatments are minimally invasive alternatives to open or laparoscopic 手术.
